problems in this country, therefore guns should be banned without delay.
Who are victims of the circulations of guns? Ask those thirty thousand people
who are killed by shooting every year. We can’t stand the cruel truth that it’s
the weapons easy to get that makes it possible for murderers to kill others
easily and fatally.
The most terrible thing is that many innocent children have to pay for the heavy
price of the use of guns. I still remember one school shooting case. A young
murderer, top student at college, became a real devil who acted on impulse when
he rushed into a primary school and opened fire, causing at least 28 deaths,
including 20 kids.
I don’t know why people should pay some others’ lives in exchange for some
seeming funny freedom. As far as I’m concerned, abused freedom won’t be our
happiness and pursuit. How many victims have guns caused? How many more have to
die under the threat of guns? If the government can’t make a promise that every
weapon will stay safely where they should belong; if we can’t make a prediction
that who will become terrorists or killers around us, why don’t we ban guns at
once and never give chance for such things to happen?
We have paid too much blood now, our heart can’t no longer bear any pains; our
mind can’t hesitate even for a second. Only when the government takes action can
people gain a sense of long-lost safety. Guns should be banned NOW in the U.S.
for showing mercy is not enough to clean the blood left by those kids in
classrooms killed by vicious gunmen. （字里行间体现着真诚、热情和愤怒）

About whether the United Sates should ban guns, I don’t think we should ban
guns. In accordance with the spirit of the States Constitution,
people have to use force to push a tyranny ,meaning that if people feel nation
regime is autocratic or the country lost democracy and freedom ,
they have the power to use force against tyranny, the right to the use of force
to protect private property and the value of their own, which is
the core spirit of the United States of America---freedom . People having guns,

Guns are a major cause of violence in the U.S., therefore they should be banned
the sooner the better. That is what many Americans seem to believe. However, will
gun prohibition make them and their family safer?
I think guns should not be banned in the U.S. for the evidence from cities in
the U.S. where guns have been virtually banned is not reassuring. Firstly,
banning guns does not keep Americans out of the hand of violent criminals. New
York City has had severe gun control laws since 1911, yet at the same time it
still ranks among the most dangerous places in the country. In this city, violent
criminals can easily obtain the most deadly weapons on the streets within
minutes. Secondly, the police can not protect you in time, but you can protect
yourself. Ten minutes is more than enough for a thug to robe, rape, murder you,
so many Americans own handguns for self-defense. Last but not least, I have
always held the view that it is not contradictory to own guns and decrease
violence for the sake of preserving peace. It is people that kill people, not
guns.
In my opinion, the final aim about banning guns is to create a peaceful and
stable world. If we can make people understand the significance of peace, it is

Recently,a debate was held in our English class about whether gun should be
banned in the U.S.Our class was separated into two groups.
The debate was so fierce that each group were trying their best to beat the
opponent.
The positive side insists that guns should be banned mainly for these three
aspects.First,the use of guns leads to violence.No one wants to
live a unstable life.Gun abuse can result in high rates of robbery,crimes and
suicides.Second,people can hardly trust others even if he or she is
your friend.Everyone has a gun and can kill others easily.As a result, people
won't communicate from their heart.Third,it's high time that we
should think more about the younger generations.Gun can leave a bad and fearful
effect on the children.In order to avoild all of the effects ,guns should be
