英语作文8篇-Should guns be banned in the U.S.

       Due attention should be given to guns in the U.S.  It is known to everyone

that guns are universally abused in the U.S. Nowadays more and more people have

argued about gun's prohibition because of the high percentage of violent crimes

that are committed with guns.
      Concerning this matter of gun abusing, everyone has their own opinions.

Some people think that guns should be banned, because they want a more peaceful

world without guns. The presence of guns can only be a threat for we cannot

control the gunman's behavior. For instance, several kids were killed or hurt

each in their own house when playing with guns as toys. There is no doubt that we

don't want to see those events happen. However, some people do not agree with

this view. They believe firmly that guns can protect citizen's safety and their

properties in case of dangers. What’s more, the existence of guns' is reasonable

since the ratio of kids who are hurt or killed by guns is significantly small

compared with the number of kids in the U.S. 
As I see it, even though it is impossible to prohibit the use of guns in the U.S.

now ,  the government should strengthen the power of law about crimes, enhance

moral education of citizens and  manage the gun's issue strictly. Ultimately,

anti-guns campaign could be successful..

  It is reported that more and more mass shootings have happened in the US. and

therefore the problem about whether guns should be banned in U.S. has aroused

much controversy.
     Some people hold the view that guns should be banned. They believe that guns

are more dangerous and lethal when used to commit crimes. What's worse, guns have

become a potential threat to other innocent people because numerous gun-owners

lack the knowledge about how to use guns properly, which serves as one of the

causes of accidental shooting. In a word, they believe that guns should be banned

for the sake of security. But on the contrary, the majority of people agree that

guns should not be banned. They reckon that according to the law of the US,

people are given the right to own guns mainly to protect their legal rights and

interests. So it isn't reasonable to ban guns only because guns are dangerous. On

the other hand ,it isn't the guns but the people who use the guns mainly commit

crimes; therefore, they think only by enriching people's knowledge about how to

use guns properly can they reduce crime rates. And they also think that people

can feel safer if they own guns when confronted with a robbery or burglary.
     As far as I'm concerned, I think guns shouldn't be prohibited in the US.

Though the mass shootings  have caused a great number of deaths,  we can't deny

that it is the people who use the guns that is to blame. In a nutshell, stricter

gun control can help Americans to protect themselves well.

In the past decade, constant shootings cases force us to pay more attention to

the problem of gun control in America. As for me, I do think that, guns should be

banned in the U.S.
First, guns are more lethal compared with other weapons like knives and hammers

when a murder case happens. During nearly 30 years, America tops the list for the

mass shootings around the world. A lot of people died in these brutal wars.
Next, guns stand for danger but safety to people who haven’t received a

professional training on how to use the gun. The examples that kids or olds kill

others even themselves by accident are not rare in America. To people who don’t

know how to shoot properly and accurately, guns are the trip mines.
What’s more, nowadays, guns aren’t the symbol of human rights as before ,

instead they destroy the rights of people. As we know, the shootings happened in

the schools and cinemas made more and more innocent people die, leaving their

family crying desperately besides their bodies. The guns destroy the people’s

rights to live rather than pursue their freedom as is stipulated in the

Constitution explicitly. Under such circumstance, we need the voice to say that,

guns should be banned for all humanity.
In conclusion, issuing the decree to ban guns in the U.S has no time to delay.（
