2. Talk about your pet in groups.
3. Write a short passage about your pet.
Example: I have a pet. It’s a _______. It’s _________. It has _________. It can __________. It likes to eat ___________.
4. Show and share your passage.
(Purpose: This part is mean to give Ss chance to use what they learn and learned before to talk and write. Writing is compressive and it is the best way to train the Ss’ thinking.)
Step 6 Summary
Today we’ve learned:
1. the sounds of  letter “t” and the “te” monogram. Usually they both sound /t/.
2. Practice chanting and try to catch the rhythm and rhyme.
(Purpose: Summarizing in class is a good way for the Ss to be more clear about what they’ve learned. )
Step 7 Homework
1. Read “Sound and words” and two short passages on P14 and pay attention to the /t/ sound.
2. Find more words included the sound /t/.
(Purpose: It is to consolidate what the Ss have learned, and also to expand and make the Ss learn more and know more.)
