1.     Today I had a letter from our friend, Brittany, Who is our old foreign teacher Look, this is an envelope and a stamp. PPT shows the words of an envelope and a stamp, teach the new words.

(1) envelope: an—en +ve+lo+pe 

(2)an—stand up    am–stamp

(3)I want to cut the envelope.  Do you have any scissors?

 scissors c---ci---sci---sci ssors  

We can use scissors to cut paper. Show some Chinese paper cutting.

2. Practice: Guessing game

T:Do you want any presents?

Let’s play a game, who can guess what he have can get a present.

S has one thing in the hand, Ss guess: Does he/she have any …?

If the student can guess, then will get a present.

(Purpose: Teacher’s letter leads to the new words, use the simple words to learn new words, then practice the new sentences with the new words, have the Ss remember the new knowledge)

1. Sing the song: Sing the second part of the song.

2. Listen to a short passage, and then tick the word in the form

(Purpose: Have Ss practice the listening with a short passage)

3.Task

2) T: Does …have any …?

Ss: Yes, he dose. He has some…

T: Tony has some...But he doesn’t have any…

Ss talk about others

… has some...But he/she doesn’t have any…

(Purpose: Have Ss to practice more and more about the difficult point)

 

Ask your partner and mark on P11, What do you have? Do you have any…?

(Purpose: It is to consolidate what the Ss have learned, and also to expand and make the Ss learn more and know more)
