I. Teaching Location:
Vocabularies : shoulders , teeth , knees , fingers , toes , wave , put , move
Sentences : These are Gogo’s shoulders .
Touch Gogo’s toes .
What are you doing , Jenny ? I’m moving my desk .
II. Teaching Objectives:
1. Language skills
A、 Ss are able to listen to the command and do the action.
B、 Ss are able to respond to /ask questions about body parts.
C、 Ss are able to comprehend sentences about body parts and actions(using present tense)
D、 Ss are able to fill in the blanks in order to complete sentences.

III.Teaching Methods:
TPR 、situational teaching method, humor, exaggerated gestures and voice , physical characterizations and lots of body language
IV. Teaching Procedure
1. Revision and warming up
1)Have Ss to sing the song “Head , shoulders , knees and toes” to review some body parts and warming up for the class.
2)“Test 1 from the clown” : Have Ss listen and act by the commands from the clown. (T acts as the clown and gradually speed up the commands.)
3)“ Test 2 from the clown”: Put Ss in pairs . Both Ss put their Student Cards of shoulders , teeth , knees , fingers , move , wave and toes in an envelope.S1 picks one card and says These are his shoulders.S2 also picks one card and describes the picture . If the cards match (the same one) , S1 and S2 pile the cards in the middle of the desk. If the cards don’t match , S1 and S2 put the cards in the envelope. The game continues again.
4)“Test3 from the clown”: Have Ss to finish a picture with a short passage .The passage is describing a monster with the words and sentences of body parts. Ss have to understand the passage and choose the right picture of the monster. The monster is a good friend of the clown .He can help Ss to make a dream come true. (PPT2)
[Aims] The passage of the monster can help T To make sure Ss are aware that the words and sentences of body parts have singular and plural forms .That’s one of the key point of this unit.
2. Presentation of the story
1)Ss pass the test and say goodbye to the clown .They meet a disabled boy – Jimmy. He has only one leg . He’s unhappy and sad.
2)Have Ss to ask together What’s your name ?What are you doing ? What’s wrong with you ? (PPT 3 )
[Aims] This way can help Ss to communicate naturally
3.Let’s help Jimmy.
T shows some pictures of disabled person , there is a pattern of sentence in the picture He/ She has ……. What’s he /she doing ? He’s /She’s …… Have Ss look at the picture and try to complete the sentence .Have one student answer first. Repeat the sentence together again. Continue with the rest pictures.
4. A letter to Jimmy.
A paper with the pictures(disabled persons) on it . Have Ss to complete the sentence . T gives some sentences like You could make it and always remain strong and happy. 你能走出阴影并变得坚强和快乐起来。/ You have to be strong.你必须坚强。/ Anything is more important than your happiness. 生活中没有任何事情比自身的快乐更重要。for Ss to choose .
5. An E-mail from Jimmy .
[Aims]There are some photos of Jimmy and sentences in the E-mail . Ss can know about Jimmy’s recent developments these days. That’s the moral education of this lesson.
V. Teaching detection
A paper with a monster that Ss paint by themselves . T can get feedback from these paper with sentences .
A Letter to Jimmy . T can get feedback of how Ss known about present tense from these paper .
