Teaching procedures:
Step1.Warming up
1. The teacher play the song Darin Peerless and encourage Ss to say out the job names they heard in the song.
2.  T encourages the Ss to list out all kinds of job names they know.
Step2. Presentation.
T: We know so many job names here, but when we want to know my friends job, what I will say?
(T shows the PPT)
T: What’s your job? I am a teacher.
T: What’s your job?
Ss: I am a student.
T: Or we can say What do you do?
T: I am a teacher. How about you? What do you do?
Ss: I am a student
T presents the below sentence structures.

Step 3 Pair Work
T shows some pictures on the screen and encourages Ss to talk with their partners. They may use the sentence structures listed out on the screen.
Step 4 Presentation.
T shows the below sentence structures to the Ss.

She/ He is a… .
Where does she/he work?
She/He works in the …
What does she/he want to be?
She/He wants to be…
Step 5 Pair Work
T shows some pictures on the screen and encourages Ss to talk with their partners. They may use the sentence structures listed out on the screen.
Step 6 Guessing Games
T leads Ss to play the guessing games. T encourages the Ss to use the target language points during the games.
Step7 Survey & Report
T leads Ss to talk about their dream jobs in the future by using the below structures.
A: What do you want to be when you grow up?
B: I want to be …
A: Why?
B: Because I think …
Let the Ss to talk with their partners about the future jobs and make a report of that.
Step8 Exercise and Summery
T lead the Ss to do some exercises and make a summery together with the Ss.
Step 9 Homework
1 Please finish the Students’ Exercise Book Section A.
2 Write a composition to introduce jobs of your family members.
