A Research on Guiding Sentences Writing in Primary School Under the New Curriculum

As the basis of writing, the words like the bricks of the house whose role should not be overlooked. We have to pay attention to wording on writing and speaking. But without rules of grammar in writing and speaking, the sentence formation can't reach a high level and the communication can't go on well. In other words, the language how to organized and understand, including the words, sentences structures and even chapters is based on a certain sense. All in all, as two important parts in language learning, grammar and vocabulary should not be isolated from each other. Thus, if teachers can fully combine both of them in the process of teaching, and insert the knowledge of grammar rules into vocabulary teaching so as to guide students to write, to form a good sentence, which would certainly stimulate students' interest in learning and improve learning ability.
4.2 The principles and requirements in vocabulary and grammar teaching
4.3 Strategies in vocabulary and grammar teaching
It had been said that the ultimate goal of vocabulary learning is to use rather than to store. And a certain amount of words linked up with the rules and regulations of grammar can form a fluent sentence, whether to speak or to write. For that matter and to enable students to understand and master more easily, the author believe that
(1) the circumstances and context should be integrated in teaching, that is to say, teacher should create situations as many as possible in teaching. The words should not be separated from sentences, and sentences from text, they should be contact with the contest, taught in a situation. For example, when the word "juice" be taught, teachers can extend it into phrases "orange juice" "a bottle of orange juice" to a sentence "Do you like orange juice? / Would you like a bottle of orange juice?"gradually.
(2) situational dialogues are more useful for understanding. Because most of students lack of language environment. With the aim of increasing opportunities for students to practice in speaking and writing, and help students think and exchange ideas with English, situational dialogues are effective. For pupils, they have a strong desire to show, to perform, so teacher can create a language environment to let students to perform themselves, which can enhance their enthusiasm for study. After some simple performances, which are vivid and visual, students can master these words and apply the words and grammar into sentences more easily.
(3) Incentive teaching can stimulate students to learn. As mentioned above, pupils strike to win and have a strong feeling to perform, teachers can make use of it to organize competitions to speak English in class teaching , which can not only enliven classroom atmosphere, but cultivate students' interest in learning English.
(4) Praise and encouragement are one key motive to keep learning. Like adults, every child has pride. In practice, some teachers are so serious that they can't tolerate the slightest error. For the students who have wrong pronunciation or grammar, they always spent much time pointing out and correcting, and require children acquire what they learnt in class quickly. It's a serious attitude toward teaching, but it can make students feel upset for correcting often and lead to be tired of English learning and lose heart. Try not to criticize students and be tolerant and influence them with the right words .More Interesting and vivid activities offered to students, they would have more learning input and output.

In short, vocabulary and grammar are two important part for a complete sentence. There are methods in teaching, but no fixed method. But according to the spirit of the new curriculum, teachers should guide students to comprehend grammar in vocabulary learning and find out the rules with self-reflection, and find their way to effective learning.
